Winter has been incredibly hard for all of Ukraine this year with Russian taking out power and heat generation plants. At Life at 100% the old generator ended up burning out. They were frantically looking for a new one and it was clearly going to need a miracle to find one – and they did! We paid $1,300 for a brand new generator big enough for the house, and the day after it was installed. A huge relief!
Another challenge at Life at 100% has been all the children got sick with a virus, including extremely high fevers. Five of the children ended up in hospital. Most of the mothers got it too. Hospital care is free but medications are relatively expensive and these were for a whole house of people. Ezra was able to cover these for them.
