FATHER’S HOUSE IN FREIBURG GERMANY

After months of searching and preparation, 40 of the children and their caregivers have moved out of the metal container refugee camps into a big new facility in Freiburg that is much more like ‘home”, thanks to a lot of help to accomplish this from one of the non-profit partners, StadtMission.  The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens are bright and fresh, and comfortable beds!  The children are so happy there.  The first night there was a big celebration Ukrainian style with homemade borscht. 

There are, of course, many more children and caregivers to be moved and work is underway to renovate another building so that it will accommodate them in four Father’s House family groups.  We are hopeful they will be able to move later in September.
